DECEMBER 2009
- Santa Claws is rockin' to town! Santa Claus and his merry elves encouraged me to spread the holiday cheer in whatever way I possibly could, without getting myself involved in illegal and unethical activity. Therefore I've posted every single song (including the entire Oceans of Night "The Shadowheart Mirror" CD) I've ever recorded on my site for your downloading pleasure. Yes, it's all free. There's no need to stampede your fellow board member at the checkout line or thrown down with the visiting Senior Citizen Squad in aisle 12. Just free music for all. If you dig it - cool. If you hate it - cool. If you aren't interested, well maybe your grandfather's doctor's cousin's former roommate might be - and that's still cool. As I always say -- if it's free, it's for me. Surf on over to the media page for the complimentary musical commodities, folks, and have a good one!

NOVEMBER 2009
- In semi-related news, just a quick little message to inform you that The Mothership (my main website hub) has been revisited, reconstructed, reconstituted, reconfigured and any other adjective that begins with the prefix "re". Insert here: __________. I've posted a plethora of design projects, photos in the galleries, press materials (downloadable PDFs) CD reviews and songs (samples and full-length mp3's) so there's plenty of free stuff to wrap your ears around if you feel so inclined. Who's going to argue with free stuff? Anyhow, this has been the most significant website overhaul I've ever attempted and managed, so the changes are many, plenty and hopefully, effective. Again, thank you for your time, attendance and support - and now back to your regularly scheduled day.

SEPTEMBER 2009
- Well, the Prog Power X event in the ATL area was, as far as I am concerned, a resounding success. The mighty Fates Warning headlining the closing Saturday night event, was more than appropriate, it was monstruous made even better by the pristine sound of the band and their bodaciously excellent choice in material to perform from their last 7 studio releases. If you were there you know of what I speak... probably. If you weren't there, well, what's your excuse? Yeah, I didn't think so !;-)
- More interviews and CD reviews are rolling in, so if you are interested, surf on over to the press area.

AUGUST 2009
- Download the full length, radio edit version of the title track, "The Shadowheart Mirror" here without question. In return, you'll be shown no musical mercy.
- Recently I was the victim of an interview by my friend Gary who runs the great site, Music Street Journal. We go back a ways on this internet thingy, so he cut me some slack. I'll let you know when the interview is posted on the MSJ site, in the meantime, you can read it here.
- I will be attending Prog Power X in Atlanta, GA, September 11-12 if for nothing else, the only official exclusive Fates Warning gig in the states this year. So if you feel like harassing me, making wagers on the odds of a war with Ukranian potato farmers or sharing fond memories of NY pizza, get your ticket(s). Note: There will be no socio-politcal religion-tinged conversations without a cold Dr. Pepper to follow.
- A new review from MetalCore webzine is posted here.
- The inaugural Oceans of Night t-shirt is now available, and yes, if you were wondering, eventual intergalactic domination begins with the obligatory basic black t-shirt. Check it out here or via the media page. If nothing else, it will get you out of the virtual house for awhile.

JULY 2009
- A close personal (and musical) friend of mine, Ethan Matthews, has released his new CD as well. Echo Us. Check it out here.
- Posted the first 2 reviews in the Press section. Read 'em and sweep... the floors, that is.
- Posted a variety of files in the media section (the sell sheet PDF, some desktop patterns/wallpapers, a few advertisements, and the like. You might find some stuff there interesting, or you might want to just return to your regularly scheduled program.
- A slight site overhaul (nothing anyone needs to concern themselves about. Now if you didn't obtain the CD yet, THAT is something you need to concern yourselves with! ;-))
- The Shadowheart Mirror CD is now available from CDBaby right here.

JUNE 2009
- Download the full length version of "A Way From You" here and frighten your grandparents, scare neighborhood children and enrage indoor pets.
- The Shadowheart Mirror CD has been unleashed upon the unsuspecting populace and all is now right in world.

MAY 2009
- Vocal tracks for the new CD are finished, studio time is completed and Scott Mosher enlists his graphic design company (Ambient) to take on the massive task of designing the CD packaging as well as managing the impending world-wide marketing campaign, designing collateral materials and the ocassional poignant t-shirt. Maintaining a growing intergalactic fanbase seems a distant, but daunting, possibility.

APRIL 2009
- Scott (Mosher) begins tracking and mixing at Freedom of Speech studios with Micky "Bass Dawg" James, their 4th studio collaboration. Sometimes it seems the fruits of their labor pale in comparison to the offbeat discussions that arise during mixdown... and yet, the work gets done. Wonders never cease to amaze (including actually releasing this darn thing in 2009!)

MARCH 2009
- The groundwork is being layed for my 5th CD release (and first under the Oceans of Night band name). Mr. Oliva and I continue to go all medieval on the songs and should accomplish musical domination of the world with this release if all goes according to the master plan (cue evil, insane laughter here).

VARIOUS DATES IN 2008
- Composed, arranged, and performed all of the music for my 5th CD (the follow-up to Deep Horizon). For those who are curious - all two of you including myself - there are more compositional and sonic similarities than differences, with Deep Horizon. 10 orphan songs now await the vocal treatment from a certain Mr. Scott Oliv,a to be followed by the standard studio mix/mastering sessions, and then its onward and upwards.
